Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 4, 2026

Founder Focus is built around a simple principle: your data is yours, and it should stay on your device. We do not run servers, we do not collect your information, and we have nothing to sell. This policy explains exactly what that means.

Data Not Collected

Founder Focus collects no personal data. There is no backend, no account server, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising. This matches our App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected.

Overview

Founder Focus ("the App") is a productivity and focus app for founders and operators. It is committed to protecting your privacy. The App functions entirely on your device. Everything you create or configure — priorities, work sessions, scores, journal entries, app-blocking selections, and settings — is stored locally and never transmitted to us or to any third party.

What We Collect

Nothing. We do not collect, receive, store, or have access to any of your information. The App has no backend or server infrastructure of any kind, so there is no place for your data to go other than your own device.

The data the App generates as you use it stays on your device using on-device storage (iOS UserDefaults, the Keychain, and a private App Group container). This includes:

None of the above ever leaves your device, and we never see it.

On-Device Storage Only

All of your data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate cloud servers, databases, or external storage for your information, and we do not transmit your data anywhere. If you delete the App, the locally stored data is removed by the operating system along with it.

Sign in with Apple

The App may offer Sign in with Apple as an optional convenience (sign-in is not required to use the App). When used, the Apple-provided identifier is stored only in your device's local Keychain to keep you signed in. It is never sent to a server we control, because there is no such server.

Sign in with Apple is operated by Apple under Apple's own privacy practices. You can review them at apple.com/privacy.

Screen Time & Device Activity

To block distracting apps and websites during focus sessions you start, Founder Focus uses Apple's Screen Time APIs (Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity). You choose which of your own apps and sites to block.

For privacy, iOS represents your selections as opaque tokens that the App itself cannot read as a plain list. These selections and tokens are stored locally on your device and never leave it. We have no visibility into what you block, and we receive no Screen Time or usage data.

No Tracking, No Analytics, No Ads

Founder Focus contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no third-party trackers, and no marketing pixels. We do not track you across apps or websites, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).

Data Sharing & Selling

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with anyone, for any purpose. Because no data is collected and nothing leaves your device, there is nothing for us to share. The only third party involved is Apple, solely to provide the optional Sign in with Apple feature described above.

Your Data & How to Delete It

Because everything lives on your device, you are fully in control at all times:

We cannot delete data on your behalf because we never have it — but the in-app controls above let you remove it completely, anytime, without contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Founder Focus is rated 4+ and is intended for a general audience. The App does not collect data from anyone, including children, and contains no data collection or advertising of any kind. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
